Jamal Benomar (Chair)

Mr. Jamal Benomar is widely known as a pro-democracy activist, human rights defender, diplomat, and international mediator. His international career spans across 35 years, including 25 years at the United Nations, where he rose to the rank of Under-Secretary General in recognition of his achievements.

Wided Bouchamaoui

Mrs Wided Bouchamaoui is a Nobel Peace Prize co-winner.
In her capacity as president of the Tunisian Union for Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA, Union Tunisienne de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Artisanat), she launched, together with the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT, Union Générale Tunisienne du Travail), the Tunisian National.

Ibrahima Fall

Ibrahima Fall is a former United Nations Under Secretary General. He has successively been Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights and Director of the UN Centre for Human Rights in Geneva (1992-1997), Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs (1997-2002), Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for the Great Lakes region (2002-2007).

Haile Menkerios

Mr. Haile Menkerios is a former Under-Secretary General and Special Representative of the UN Secretary General to the African Union (2013-1018). He held various positions during his tenure in the United Nations including as Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Sudan and South Sudan (2011-2013).

Tarek Mitri

Dr Tarek Mitri is former Under-Secretary General of the United Nations and Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Libya. He is currently the President of St George University of Beirut. Dr Mitri held several ministerial positions in the Lebanese Government: Minister of Culture

Ahmedou Ould Abdallah

Ahmedou Ould Abdallah is the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Mauritania, and former Minister of Commerce and Transportation, as well as former Ambassador to Washington and to the European Union in Brussels.
