Privacy Policy

International Center for Dialogue initiatives (hereinafter referred to as “ICDI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this privacy policy which describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the Website (www.dialogueinitiatives.org).
When you visit and use our website, contact us by email or donate online, we handle some of your personal data: mainly your email address (if you subscribe to our newsletter), your payment details if you chose to make an online donation, and data on your browsing habits, so that we can get to know you better.

By subscribing, you authorize us to use your data in order to regularly send our newsletter to the address you have provided and to exploit statistics linked to such correspondence.
A link at the bottom of each newsletter allows you to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time. Any data pertaining to you that we hold will then be irreversibly deleted at the end of the month during which you unsubscribed, with the exception of your email address, which may be recorded for security reasons and to ensure we respect your request to unsubscribe.

COOKIES
A cookie is a small file that a website transfers to your computer to allow it to remember specific information about your session while you are connected. Your computer will only share the information in the cookie with the website that provided it, and no other website can request it. There are two types of cookies, session and persistent. Session cookies last only as long as your Web browser is open. Once you close your browser, the cookie disappears. Persistent cookies store information on your computer for longer periods of time.
ICDI may use session cookies for technical purposes such as to enable better navigation through the site or to allow you to customize your preferences for interacting with the site or to compile anonymous statistics on visits to our site. To learn more about the latter, we recommend that you read the information available to visitors of websites and applications that use Google Analytics: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.
At no time is your private information, whether stored in cookies or elsewhere, shared with third parties who have no right to that information. If you do not wish to have session or persistent cookies stored on your machine, you can turn them off in your browser. However, this may affect the functioning of some sections of our site.
